I have to say, i really like the glassy orb logo. i don't really think it needs changing. i think much the same WRT the website redesign. i like the skeumorphic layout. it reminds me of a time when the web was much more approachable without cleanup software like adblockers. i like the current freebsd website for the same reasons i like the OpenBSD website.

e: It'd be cool to have this as a manual page, all of the syscalls laid out in a table with code references. I'm keeping this in mind as an OpenBSD user.
It wouldn't be too hard to generate one, but it could lead to confusion for people if they use random internet manpages because the syscall codes are not guaranteed to be stable across versions on OpenBSD and syscalls get added/removed/deprecated sometimes.

Stemming from looking at a proposed Linux kernel patch to alter the Linux kernel's system call number handling, veteran Linux kernel developer Thomas Gleixner went down a rabbit hole of the kernel's system call entry handling to make a number of clean-ups and improvements to the code. That rework to the system call entry handling is now expected to land for the Linux 7.3 kernel cycle.

Until yesterday, I never heard anyone from TrueNAS or IXsystems talk about the transition. I learnt something new.
@ptribble thank you for the reply. My error re nfs... probably getting Tribblix confused with Open/NetBSD. The emcryption would be interesting. Perhaps even if it was only data partitions encrypted for now and auto unlockable then root/FDE later. Not sure if #alpinelinux or #ChimeraLinux would be a useful starting point as both do native encrypted zfs.
