When I was looking for an easy way to browse and search for OpenBSD packages I noticed that openbsd.app for had that older date too.
I ended up using https://ports.to for my searches, is that a good alternative?

It's been at least 20 years since I last properly used OpenBSD, but I've just this week started using it again on my old spare laptop to get familiar with it again.
Thanks for that link to the OpenBSD Handbook, that is a treasure trove of information!
