First and foremost I am a Humanitarian. This ideology overshadows every aspect of my life. I am also a Philosopher, Mathematician and Software Architect as well as a Developer. I love art in all its forms and I will hold a conversation with anyone that is polite, even if they disagree with me. My computer science background can be found on my blog post here. As well as more insight on my moniker can be found here.

I play around with FreeBSD on one of my home servers. I also play around with OpenIndiana. I primarily use Fedora based distros such as Fedora Workstation and Rocky Linux on my VPS. I also use custom builds of Gnu/Linux on some of my desktops, such as my GMKtec mini. I do not use any Microsoft OSes at all and have not for quite some time (decades). That does not mean I am not familiar with the domain as I have supported many friends and family on their Microsoft OS platforms.

I maintain a Friendica Instance on the Fediverse. It has been a real pleasure and sometimes a point of frustration maintaining the Instance. I do enjoy the challenge though.

@stefano 'nix (Unix like derivative) shells are pretty neutral to any specific OS or distro. Would it be considered to add a category specifically for shell related topics? Or maybe a 'nix (*nix, nix) category for topics that are generic and apply to all Unix derivatives.
