Oops! Overlooked new NFB of #NVIDIA #GPU #drivers 610.43.03 (previous one was 610.43."02"!) for 2 weeks...Filed Bug296950 for upgrading -devel variants https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=296950and opened corresponding review D58375 for #FreeBSD #ports. https://reviews.freebsd.org/D58375Anyway, seems to be a minor upgrade. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/details/274185/Same Release Highlights for Linux counterpart. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/details/274183/

New legacy version (580 series) of #NVIDIA #GPU #drivers 580.173.02 landed on latest (aka main) branch of #FreeBSD #ports while I was going to propagate here in fediverse for in-review info. https://cgit.freebsd.org/ports/commit/?id=87d4e44a557cb77e9e125831504db262935f5e63Note that, as I've noted in the commit message, NVIDIA currently does NOT providing usual release information for it (silently released under Archive links per-OS/archs).And prior to this update, fix for GPF crashes on specific configuration (notably KDE on Wayland) in nvidia-drm.ko is landed. https://cgit.freebsd.org/ports/commit/?id=1959aaa9de6a660c326fc567bfc650b178f0b63fThankfully, both landed before next quarterly 2026Q3 is branched (not yet at this moment).
