Thanks. I'm curious, are some of those news items aggregated from another area in which you post?

framapiaf.org
, maybe?

Indeed!
It's more like “semantic” help… not really usefull (?!)
Right now, I'm wondering whether I should get rid of them,… in the context of the SGG, what is their real purpose?

Almost all of them come from the RSS feeds of the authors' websites, managed on Mozilla Thunderbird!
See:
Little by little, I'm adding to the list of sites I follow

some through social media platforms such as Framapiaf.org, BSD.Network, and Journal du Hacker

occasionally from certain news sites, especially in French, my native language

Basically, that's the idea behind my daily news roundup; I enjoy doing it because I end up reading a lot of things—some useful, some interesting, and others not so much, but which might interest others.

The guiding principle is the sharing of information; the main focus, for the most part, is on FLOSS—whether I like the article or not, understand it or not, etc.

In any case, each language version is truly specific to the lang; in rare cases, we can find the same articles translated…

Voila.
